Confirm the Structure and Configuration
Different cover families solve different site problems. A fabric roller system, a floating slat arrangement and a structural deck cannot be compared as though they are identical products. The quoted dimensions, material, operation and installation arrangement should be clear.
List Included and Excluded Components
Check the cover body, roller or movement structure, drive, controls, guides, fixing materials and agreed accessories. Not every category needs the same items. Ask what your installer needs to source locally and which decorative or construction items are outside the supply.
Separate Freight and Local Installation Costs
Product supply, freight, customs responsibilities and local works are different cost areas. Foundations, drainage, electrical preparation, lifting and finishing can materially affect a project. Confirm the trade terms and delivery responsibilities for the actual order rather than relying on an assumed all-in price.
Agree Dimensions before Production
The order process confirms quotation, dimensions, configuration and colour before production. Ask how changes are handled and which documents establish the approved specification. A preliminary website inquiry is not a production release.
Review Support and Warranty Terms
Confirm whether instructions or remote guidance are included for the supplied configuration. Local installation remains a separately agreed responsibility. Warranty, replacement components, transport costs and any exclusions should be confirmed in the actual order documents; no universal period should be inferred from the cover’s appearance or an estimated service life.
